NCAA Tournament Contest at FansEdge

Monday, March 14th, 2011

Now it’s one of our favorite times of the year – March Madness! The tournament is here, and the field has been chosen. With the top 68 teams in the nation getting ready to play to determine who can outlast everyone else, it’s time to choose what teams we think will make the final four – and you can compete against us. In fact, if you join our Group on Facebook (password:brackets), we will give out a $100 Reward Certificate to FansEdge to whomever has the most accurate bracket. All you have to do is become our fan and join the FansEdge group to win – all for something you were going to do anyway. Don’t delay though, because the group size is limited to the first 400 participants. That means great odds to win it all!

Now, some quick do’s and don’ts when picking your brackets:

DO: Pick at least one 12 over a 5. It happens almost every year, sometimes more than once.

DON’T: Pick a 16 over a 1. Never happened. And if it does, no one else will pick it either, so no harm.

DO: Pick at least one #1 seed to make the Final Four.

DON’T: Pick all #1 seeds to make the final four.

DO: Assume that 8/9 games are a tossup and realize your cat has a better chance to pick it correctly.

DON’T: Choose BYU, Missouri, or Xavier to make the final four (0 for 69 so far)

DO: Join our group on CBSsports (password:brackets) to win a $100 Reward certificate for the best bracket prognosticator!

Now if we could just get Thursday and Friday off to watch the first round….
